libaddresses-dev software package provides Database API backend framework for GNUstep (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libaddresses-dev
libaddresses-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libaddresses-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libaddresses-dev *
You will get with libaddresses-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
